This is a small stormwater pond with a large drainage basin and heavy nutrient loads.

The pond is 0.71 acre (30,927.6 square feet) in size, with three floating wetland islands, totaling 1,536 square feet (142.75 square meters). The Beemats were installed in April 2019, and have prevented 345.54 pounds of nitrogen and 71.6 pounds of phosphorus from discharging to the Indian River Lagoon through biomass uptake and harvest during the past two years.
